Nedbank Swaziland entered into the New Year in style by launching a new internal 2010 theme that will carry us throughout the year 2010. The theme for 2010 is ‘Siyakhula - likusasa letfu’ which means we are growing to greater heights with our future in our hands in terms of:

• Drive to increase customer satisfaction service levels
• Asset growth at or reasonably above projected market growth levels (i.e. maintaining the current market share, but growth in some specific categories).
• Continued focus on improving our SME offering
• Strengthening the Business Banking team
• Strong focus on increasing non interest income (NIR) and transactional numbers
• Growing Retail funding at acceptable margins
• Centralizing administrative processes to minimize risk and impact positively to customer service levels
• Continued rollout of our distribution strategy
• Stringent expense control with headcount kept constant except for distribution expansion
