Having started his career as a Small Business Developer at SEDCO providing training and assisting small businesses on basic business management practices. Themba then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers where he served his Articles and later practiced as an auditor where he performed various statutory audits, including accounting work. In August 2000 he took employment with the City Council of Manzini as a Financial Accountant. His career at Nedbank started in 2004 as Head of Internal Audit and in September 2008, he moved to Nedbank South Africa where he was appointed as the Head of Audit for Retail Division. In 2018, he returned to Nedbank (Swaziland) to assume the position of Chief Risk Officer.
