A distinguished technology executive with more than 35 years of experience in information technology, data management, digital transformation, and innovation within the banking sector. Now, retired, Patricia previously served as Chief Data Officer at Nedbank Group Technology, where she spearheaded the development of modern data ecosystems, advanced analytics capabilities, and cloud-based solutions, earning recognition as a global leader in Artificial Intelligence and data innovation.

Throughout her career, she has held several senior executive positions, including Chief Data Officer at Nedbank Limited, where she led enterprise-wide data modernisation initiatives, implemented Africa’s first SAS cloud solution, and directed a data transformation programme valued at R850 million. As Divisional Executive: Application Development & Maintenance, she successfully consolidated three technology divisions into a streamlined software engineering function, enhancing operational efficiency and delivery capabilities.

Her leadership experience also includes serving as Divisional Technology Officer for Wholesale Banking, where she oversaw the delivery of major digital banking platforms, including Internet Banking and Corporate Payment Systems. Earlier roles as Program Executive, Senior Systems Integrator, and Manager: Information Systems enabled her to play a pivotal role in shaping Nedbank’s technology landscape over several decades.
