Mpendulo has predominantly worked on corporate aspects of the law since July 2011 and has a crisp understanding of the unique legal and operational issues facing large scale corporate entities and financial services providers. He possesses plenty of experience on the operations of statutory enterprises having worked with several state-owned enterprises, coupled with extensive experience on regulatory matters gained from working as an attorney and his legal advisory role in the corporate space. Before re-joining Nedbank as Head of Legal/Company Secretary, Mpendulo worked as an attorney at Waring Attorneys, then as Legal Officer - Compliance at the Eswatini Royal Insurance Corporation. He then joined Nedbank, firstly as Assistant Company Secretary then as Head of Compliance & Money Laundering Control Officer, after which he joined Royal Eswatini Sugar Corporation (RES) as Governance, Risk and Compliance Officer. He is an affiliate member of the Compliance Institute of Southern Africa and the Law Society in Eswatini. Mpendulo is also a member of the Eswatini Stock Exchange Market Committee.
